Jon Baker

Jon Baker serves as Executive Vice President of Subsurface and Business Development for Ensign Natural Resources. Mr. Baker has a 25-year track record of leading teams to create value through technical assessment and asset development. Prior to joining Ensign, Mr. Baker served as Senior Vice President, Geoscience & Engineering for Rio Oil & Gas where he led multiple iterations of the company through acquisition, development, and disposition activities. Prior to Rio, he held technical and leadership roles at multiple successful private equity companies. Mr. Baker holds a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Brigham Young University with a master’s degree in Geology from the University of Houston.
