Major Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct oversight of Artificial Lift Techs, including performance management, scheduling, vacations, skill development, and training.
• Direct daily optimization operations and prioritize tasks in coordination with the Field Control Room
• Optimize artificial lift systems (Gas Lift, Plunger Lift, and Rod Pump): adjust rates/timing, troubleshoot issues (valves, stuck plungers, pump-off, fluid pound, etc.), analyze data (dynamometer cards, pressure surveys, arrivals), and coordinate repairs to maximize production
• Troubleshoot and restore production to wells using swabbing, unloading, and other proven methods
• Monitor field operations for safety, environmental compliance, production optimization, and staff performance identify and correct deviations from company practices
• Lead safety meetings, develop content, ensure all required training is completed, and enforce HSE policies, PPE usage, LOTO, stop-work authority, and regulatory compliance
• Manage incidents: reporting, investigation, remediation, and continuous improvement
• Act as onsite company representative to oversee contractors, approve electronic tickets/invoices, and ensure accurate cost coding
• Complete daily reports, capture field activities electronically, track OPEX, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide relief coverage for other Foremen as needed
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles across all road conditions while performing other assigned duties
• Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off

Education, Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years or relevant operator experience required
• Must have strong process improvement skills
• Must be able to promote cooperation and work effectively as part of a team
• Must have a good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental programs
• Must be able to manage all aspects of safe practices, initiate corrective actions on all safety issues and maintain all regulatory compliances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong ability to understand and adhere to processes

Physical Requirements

• Required to travel to field locations
• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on regular basis and occasionally lift/ move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE
