Major Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and oversight of assigned maintenance personnel, including performance management, skill development, scheduling, vacations, and training
• Plan, prioritize, and execute work orders and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by the Field Control Room
• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization on production equipment (engines, generators, pumps, compressors, separators, valves, tanks) and instrumentation & electrical systems (transmitters, PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, motors, switchgear, SCADA, and communication systems)
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; tune engines, restart equipment, and restore operations to minimize downtime
• Program, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain facility instrumentation, control systems, and communication towers for reliable field-to-control-room connectivity
• Monitor equipment performance, identify reliability concerns, recommend improvements, and assist with root cause failure investigations
• Oversee contractors as the onsite company representative; approve electronic tickets/invoices with proper cost coding
• Lead safety meetings, ensure all staff complete required training, and enforce HSE policies, LOTO, PPE usage, stop-work authority, and regulatory compliance
• Manage incidents: reporting, investigation, remediation, and continuous improvement
• Continuously monitor field operations for safety, environmental compliance, and equipment reliability using Geotab and other tools; direct and support field staff to resolve issues
• Collaborate with operations, Artificial Lift Technicians, and I&E teams to troubleshoot complex problems and support facility startups, shutdowns, and commissioning
• Complete all daily electronic reports, capture maintenance activities, track OPEX, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles across paved and unpaved roads while performing other assigned duties
• Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off
Education, Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years or relevant operator experience required
• Must have strong process improvement skills
• Must be able to promote cooperation and work effectively as part of a team
• Must have a good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental programs
• Must be able to manage all aspects of safe practices, initiate corrective actions on all safety issues and maintain all regulatory compliances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong ability to understand and adhere to processes

Physical Requirements
• Required to travel to field locations
• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on regular basis and occasionally lift/ move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE
