Major Responsibilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline required
• Professional Engineer license preferred but not required
• Minimum 5 years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility engineering
• Experience designing, modifying, and optimizing production facilities, gathering systems, compression, separation, water handling, dehydration and tank battery equipment
• Experience supporting operated assets and field operations required
• Experience with facility construction, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting
• Experience with HSE, regulatory, air permitting, process safety, and mechanical integrity requirements preferred
• Strong understanding of facility design, process flow, hydraulics, equipment sizing, pressure systems, and field construction practices
• Knowledge of separators, tanks, meters, pumps, compressors, pipelines, flares, VRUs, LACT units, produced water systems, gas treatment, and electrical/control systems.
• Ability to read and develop equipment specifications, scopes of work, and construction packages
• Strong project management, cost estimating, and contractor coordination skills
• Proficiency with engineering calculations, design tools, Excel, and project management software
• Ability to communicate effectively across all functions in the organization
Education, Experience & Skills
• Support operations in the safe and reliable daily operations of all facilities and pipeline systems
• Support in the engineering of expansions, modifications, and maintenance of existing facilities with emphasis on continued improvement and reliability
• Trouble-shoot, analyze and solve problems; Learn from all situations, listen to other’s ideas, and apply solutions to future projects
• Initiate action that will enhance the operation's safety and environmental record
• Communicate progress, problems, needs, and successes to fellow teammates and management
• Promote positive and constructive teamwork focused on achieving goals
• Design the technical scope of projects to ensure compliance with all industry standards, company policies, procedures and plans along with federal, state and local regulations
• Project management of engineering activities, including inter-disciplinary coordination, contractor management, and operational interfaces
• Work cooperatively as a team member on a multi-discipline team to evaluate the feasibility and cost of expansion and modification projects, in conjunction with land, permitting, facilities, HSE, and the operations team
• Model existing and proposed pipelines/facilities in support of operations, project engineering, and commercial development
• Develop annual budgets and required AFE's along with supporting economics and justification for each project
• Manage long lead equipment and technical services contracts; Lead technical aspects of competitive bids to realize volume discounts and manage costs
• Plan and coordinate construction schedules and methods to meet milestones and budgetary limits
• Track actual costs and monitor expenditures for all AFE's and Budget
• Collaborate cross functionally with Land, Drilling & Completions, and other functions to determine facility needs to keep up with drilling activity and identify critical processing bottle necks
• Accountable for reviewing process changes in a timely manner and ensuring safe operations

Physical Requirements
This role will involve work in office and field. The candidate must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing, walking, climbing, working outdoors, wearing required PPE, traveling to field locations, and working around facility equipment, high-pressure systems, noise, chemicals, and changing weather conditions. The employee is expected to follow all company and regulatory safety requirements and to exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.
