Major Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain ownership decks to ensure the timely and compliant royalty payments
• Prepare and issue division orders, analyze title requirements, and proactively identify and resolve title defects and curative items
• Send required correspondence to owners to solve revenue discrepancies
• Interpret and apply title documents, including assignments, deeds, probates, and trusts
• Maintain compliance with escheatment and unclaimed property reporting requirements
• Manage legal and revenue suspense, including research, documentation and timely resolution of suspense balances
• Calculate and maintain various interest types including working interest, net revenue, NPRI, and overrides
• Build and maintain multi-well, multi-unit, and burden-based ownership decks, ensuring proper allocation across units and properties
• Coordinate with Revenue Accounting to ensure proper and timely revenue distribution and ownership deck preparation
• Provide administrative support, file research, and data input assistance for the Division Order team
Education, Experience & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience, with an emphasis in division orders and owner relations
• Strong understanding of DOI calculations, burden structures, revenue distribution mechanics, suspense management, escheatment, and unclaimed property compliance
• Demonstrated experience reviewing and interpreting oil and gas leases, conveyance documents, title opinions, and contracts to establish and maintain ownership decks
• Experience setting up and maintaining ownership decks, including multi-well and unitized interests
• Ability to handle owner inquiries and escalations with a high level of professionalism and accuracy
• Familiarity with JIB, land and revenue accounting interfaces; ability to reconcile discrepancies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
• Hands-on experience with division order systems; proficiency with Quorum is preferred

• Systems aptitude with the ability to manage high-volume data entry, maintain accurate records across multiple properties, and prioritize competing deadlines
• Self-motivated with a commitment to on continuous improvement
• Strong work ethic with a high level of personal integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality of owner information
