"The work itself is familiar, but the culture here is something different. It genuinely feels like a team of people who enjoy each other — more family and friends than colleagues."
Tell us about yourself.
Outside of work, I'm a family man at heart — you'll find me at home playing games with the kids or keeping the grill going. Professionally, my interest in the private equity side of the industry had been building for a few years. Getting here took hard work and patience, but I'd be lying if I didn't credit a bit of good timing and some fortunate earlier successes along the way.
How is Ensign different from other places you have worked?
The work itself is familiar, but the culture here is something different. It genuinely feels like a team of people who enjoy each other — more family and friends than colleagues.
What is your favorite thing about working at Ensign?
I can't remember a single meeting where someone didn't make the room laugh. Usually at each other's expense — which is the best kind. The team also has excellent taste in food, which says a lot about their priorities.
What would you say to someone who was interested in working at Ensign?
I'd tell them I'm genuinely excited for them and hope we get the chance to work together.
