Major Responsibilities

• Well & Facility Operations: Ensure safe and efficient operation of pumping units, wellheads, heater treaters, separators, compressors, and related equipment; perform adjustments, maintenance, repairs, and bring wells back online to optimize production and recover lost volumes.
• Monitoring, Gauging & Logistics: Check tank levels, coordinate oil sales and water truck hauls, conduct daily readings of measurement equipment, accurately record production data, identify abnormal conditions, and detect leaks. Responding
• Maintenance, Compliance & Oversight: Act as onsite company representative to oversee contractor work; thoroughly understand company operating procedures and contribute to new or improved procedures; provide route operator relief, attend/supervise well interventions, follow lockout/tagout procedures, perform right-of-way maintenance, and complete all required electronic reports.

• Gathering System Operations: Respond to direction from the field control room. Operate and maintain the gathering system (including compressor stations) to minimize downtime, facility system pressures, perform equipment shutdowns, startups, and adjustments as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance & Optimization: Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on pipelines, pumps, compressors, and associated facilities to ensure optimum efficiency and reliability.
• Safety, Compliance & Field Support: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles over all road conditions; strictly adhere to all company, state, and federal guidelines, HSE policies, and PPE requirements; exercise stop-work authority, report incidents/near misses promptly, oversee safe practices by contractors, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant operator experience required - position level will be determined based on candidate’s experience and proven competency level:
o Level I requires 2+ years
o Level II requires 5+ years
o Level III requires 8+ years
• Highly knowledgeable in downhole operation
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong ability to understand and adhere to processes
• Must be able to promote cooperation and work effectively as part of a team
• Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Technical & Operational Expertise: Hands-on experience with oil and gas gathering systems, separation equipment, and compressors, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to see the big picture and translate insights into effective field actions.

Physical Requirements

• Required to travel to field locations
• Required to work overtime, as needed
• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on regular basis and occasionally lift/ move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE
