Major Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of assigned areas/functions
• Manage all field employees assigned to area including, but not limited to, performance management, skill development, scheduling and vacation
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in the field
• Direct the content for safety meetings; develop content, contribute to productive discussions on safe practices and expectations, identify training needs
• Confirm staff receives all required training including, but not limited to, safety and job training
• Approve tickets via electronic means confirming cost codes, pricing, vendors and dates work was completed
• Continually monitor field operations for safety, environmental, & production optimization
• Monitor operations staff using Geotab; identify and remedy issues that do not align with Company practices/policies
• Manage incidents in the field including reporting, leading investigations, confirming remediations, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
• Leadership & Coordination: Consult, collaborate, and take direction from the field control room to direct and prioritize field staff efforts; work directly with field personnel to resolve complex production issues; oversee bringing new production online; develop, update, and contribute to standard operating procedures while providing relief coverage for other Foremen as needed
• Reporting, Administration & Cost Control: Complete all required daily paperwork and electronic reports; track and monitor OPEX costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budget control initiatives
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company, state, and federal guidelines and HSE policies; ensure proper use of PPE, exercise stop-work authority, and promptly report all incidents and near misses
• Field Operations Support: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles across paved and unpaved rural roads while performing other duties as assigned.
• Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off

Education, Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years or relevant operator experience required
• Must have strong process improvement skills
• Must be able to promote cooperation and work effectively as part of a team
• Must have a good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental programs
• Must be able to manage all aspects of safe practices, initiate corrective actions on all safety issues and maintain all regulatory compliances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong ability to understand and adhere to processes

Physical Requirements

• Required to travel to field locations
• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on regular basis and occasionally lift/ move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE
