Major Responsibilities Reception • Manage reception area and lobby including receiving and coordinating visitors and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere • Answer and direct calls in a timely and polite manner • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and packages • Maintain an awareness of all visitors coming and going, issue visitor badges as directed • Assist with organizing meetings including, but not limited to, scheduling, setup, catering and clean-up • Maintain company phone list • Assist Land, Accounting and HR Departments, as needed Office Administration • Provide vendor selection and oversight for all applicable areas of control • Maintain inventory in all breakrooms at acceptable levels, maintain breakroom equipment • Maintain office supplies in all copy areas at acceptable levels, order and distribute supplies as needed • Order business cards • Manage shredding service • Maintain pool vehicles • Maintain living arrangements for IOC personnel Education, Experience & Skills • At least 3 years of experience in a reception, administrative, or other professional role preferred • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and general office equipment • Ability to calmly and effectively deal with high-stress situations; this includes continuing to persevere and remaining calm in challenging or frustrating circumstances Physical Work Conditions • Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl • Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds on regular basis, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds Ensign offers competitive salary, cash bonus and equity plans. He brings extensive technical and strategic strengths to the Ensign team where he manages reserves, reservoir, and economic modeling and forecasting and supports business development, field development planning, operations, field surveillance, and production forecasting and optimization. Prior to Ensign, Mr. Robinson spent 15 years with Ryder Scott where he served as Managing Senior Vice President. Major Responsibilities • Relief for Recovery Operator, when needed • Onsite field pollution inspections • Enter work request for maintenance work when needed • Execute tasks as directed by the IOC Operator • Ensure Safe Work practices are followed by all personnel on company property including contractors • Thoroughly understand and maintain compliance with all Company, State, and Federal guidelines • Act as onsite company rep to oversee contractor work • Up line all incidents and Near misses to supervisor in a timely manner • Complete route inspections and optimization of all wells assigned by IOC • Utilize IOC to communicate break in work identified while on route • Adjust production equipment to optimize production • Learn, follow, and participate in all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies always • Know and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times • Exercise stop work authority in the event of unsafe conditions or situations • Perform any other job duties assigned by IOC or Supervisor • Work schedule: 5 days worked followed by 2 days off; call out duty is required Education, Experience & Skills • High school diploma or equivalent • Prior operator experience required (prior applicable experience will determine job level of candidate selected) • Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record • Strong ability to understand and adhere to processes • Must be able to promote cooperation and work effectively as part of a team • Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Physical Work Conditions • Required to travel to field locations • Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on regular basis, and occasionally lift/ move up to 100 pounds • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision • Must be able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold • Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE Ensign offers competitive salary, cash bonus and equity plans. Day to day business moves much faster. For example, If something needs to get done we can get approval in minutes rather than hours or days. What is your favorite thing about working at Ensign? The ability and encouragement to get involved regardless of your area of expertise or experience. I think this makes all of us better and multi skilled over time as well as provides those with more experience a different angle to view issues. What would you say to someone who was interested in working at Ensign? I would say it’s a challenging and rewarding meritocracy. Prior to that, he served as Drilling Operations Manager at Endeavor Energy Resources managing a 15-rig program that delivered over 1,000 wells in the Midland basin and as Drilling Manager at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation leading the organization’s 18-rig program in the Delaware Basin. Prior to his leadership roles, Mr. Bullock held various drilling, completions, production, and business roles with increasing responsibility related to engineering, operations, and planning functions.
