Rick Robinson

Rick Robinson joined Ensign Natural Resources as Vice President of Reservoir Engineering in 2022. Prior to Ensign, Mr. Robinson spent 15 years with Ryder Scott where he served as Managing Senior Vice President. Prior to Ryder Scott, he was with ExxonMobil. With more than 18 years of experience, Mr. Robinson brings extensive technical and strategic strengths to the Ensign team with reserves and economic modeling experience focused in the Eagle Ford and Permian US Shale plays. He manages reserves, reservoir, and economic modeling and forecasting and supports business development, field development planning, operations, field surveillance, and production forecasting and optimization. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, he is an active member of SPE, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
